Welcome to another episode of From Pixels to Plastic, the show all about our favorite video game characters turned action figures!
In today’s episode, Pixel Dan takes a look at another sweet Japanese import action figure from the Good Smile Company! It’s the newly released Samus Aran Figma from Metroid: Other M.
Metroid is a game franchise that really hasn’t received the action figure treatment much, but thankfully we now have an amazing Samus action figure! Tune in to check it out!

Flashback Friday is a chance for me to share some of my past videos with everyone again. This will allow newer viewers to see a video they might not have yet seen, and allow the long-time viewers a trip down memory lane! It also serves to show just how much my videos have evolved over the years. Warning: the quality will not always be very good in these older videos!
Today’s Flashback is an overview I did on one of Mattel’s classic toy lines! Released in 1967 comes Major Matt Mason, Mattel’s Man in Space! Join me for a look at some of the cool figures and playsets from this classic toy line!

The Outer Space Men line by Four Horsemen Design continues with wave 5 and their first-ever Deluxe figure!
The new waves always kick off each year at San Diego Comic Con with the Alpha Phase, which are fully translucent versions of the figures that will later be released fully painted.

The Super Hellecarrier adds 12″ in length to the retail version of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellecarrier, making the playset measure a massive 4 feet in length! While still not to scale with your 3.75″ Marvel Universe figures, that’s still quite a large playset for this day in age.
