Packaging Artwork revealed for Joe Amaro’s Manta Raider (UPDATED with Pricing Info)

UPDATE 8/8/2012:

From Joe-

The price for the Manta Raider will be $50.00 and will be limited to one per person.  I am thinking about pre-selling them to help avoid any headaches at the con. Anything that does not sell during the pre-sell period will be at the con for sale.

This is for the Manta Raiders at Power Con only. I will not be shipping any out at this time. That will be another run and thier WILL BE another run later for fans who could not attend Power Con.

To be clear if you pre-order you will have to pick them up at Rudy’s booth. Which is better because while there you can him sign it! But I will not do this until I have them done and ready, so maybe by early to mid September.
I will keep updating you as I have information, especially when I have the ordering information.

ORIGINAL POST: Joe Amaro has revealed the updated artwork by Rudy Obrero that will be used for the packaging of the upcoming Manta Raider accessory!

Joe hopes to have details on the sale The Manta Raider very soon, but the first batch is planned to be sold at Power-Con next month! I’ll be sure to keep you all updated with the details as they become available!

Note: The Manta Raider is not associated with MOTU or Mattel. It’s a limited edition hand made piece of art and not a toy.

Whoa, Joe! Finish one project before you start another. I'm still waiting for the Mystic Hammer I ordered a month ago!

Those should be shipping soon if he hasn't already shipped them all. I know he just got the finals back recently. So just hang tight! These hand made, small run items can take a little more time sometimes. :-) You should have it soon!

I'm sure once it gets here all will be forgiven. Just been waiting so long.

I confirmed with Joe that all hammers should be shipped out by the end of this week. He sends his apologies for the delay!

Very cool mini vehicle. Glad they updated the artwork, didn't want Mattel to get upset as it kinda was like using He-Man to sell something.

Now I want that new helmet :) Very cool and barbaric looking.

Dan, do you think there will be any way to buy this awesome item from Joe's website? I personally would love to go to Powercon but can't afford it. My second question is, is Powercon going to be in N.Y. next year? I live in N.J. and if this is true I would definitely be there next year. Thank God we have other year to celebrate masters of the universe classics.

The first run is exclsuive to Power-Con. He does plan on doing a second run sold through his website after the convention, so you should have a chance to get one still!

The plan was for Power-Con to be in NY for the third year, then start alternating between CA and NY every other year. I can't confirm that just yet, as the 2014 Power-Con has not been locked in just yet. Hopefully we'll have full details next month at the convention!
