Dan what did you think of the Horde Troopers? The heads don't seem to sit right like they did in the panel and seemingly the prototype, they seem to sit to high or the Armor is too low?

The castle's jawbridge is a huge improvement. Some nice head clearance there! I honestly was on the fence about keeping my pre-order but I believe I'm all in once again. I love how the interior walls look and how the interior base is now solid pieces. I won't be parking my Wind Raider in there but definitely interested to see how the Jet Sled might look. That Sky or Jet Sled is so sweet. I wish I could have a dozen of them. Dan, awesome to see there is a strap on the Bat Jet Pack! I just couldn't see that item non-functional.

The idea to have a blind sub exclusive is fantastic. One of my favorite things were the few surprise accessories we've received in the past but this surpasses them all. I love how this one mysterious name dropped in the last comic is getting a figure. I'm sure if the Powers of Grayskull line had taken off we certainly would have seen an Un-Named One figure back in the late 1980's. I wonder if Scott found information on the Un-Named One through the archives or individuals who last left off the POG line? Or, is this something they're creating from scratch? Either way I'm so psyched for this mysterious figure.

One of the best years of SDCC reveals, in my opinion. Looking forward to Plundor with that Skeletor axe! I'm going to display him next to Fearless Photog and Castle Grayskullman. Next to the rabbit and Un-Named One I'm really looking forward to Two-Bad, Modulok, Strong Arm, Goat Man, and Geldor. Long live Motu!

It looks like nothing but good things from Mattel for MOTUC fans in the coming year. I am ecstatic about Two-bad; he was my favorite henchman when I was a kid. I was hoping for a flail weapon like his 200X figure and not the funky club, but that's what customizing is for.

I do have one critique on the weapons pack. As I mentioned on the He-man.org forum, I was surprised at no mention of this. I was really hoping for blood tanks for Mosquitor. This issue got a lot of attention when he first came out, and there were more than a few suggestions for it in a weapons pack. I would have been happy with a few less recolored weapons for the sake of their inclusion. With now weapons pack coming next year, It does not seem likely to happen ever. Otherwise, Kowl: yay! Rattlor harness: yay!

Other than those two critiques, I think the next year is going to be fantastic! I am reasonable enough to know that 100% satisfaction across the board is not feasible. My cons are very significantly outweighed by my pros. I am happy that I subbed up.

Reveals this year look wonderful. Glad I subbed already. Thanks for the walk through video, great as always.

    Yay Purple Rabbit!!!!!!! BOOM!

the mattel MOTUC booth walk-through is always the highlight of SDCC for me, thanks for the great work! …

    Modulok !!

    A must buy to me.
Although the neck part seems to be a little bulky

  • Sword2Blanket says:

The highlights of the walkthrough were the two ladies: Glimmer and Scott's assistant.

  • MattSterner says:

Thank you for the coverage Dan! Great to see everything and all the reveals!

  • Burgl3cut says:

I must recant my earlier assessment of Two-Bad's weapon. For some reason I thought his 200X club was a flail type weapon. It must have been a custom I saw somewhere. Upon looking at the 200X config, I realized my error in that the club on the MOTUC will be the same. That does not change my eager anticipation of the figure next year, though. Hoping the line gets renewed. Fingers crossed.

  • Oswaldoworld says:

Dan, you forgot one figure… Loo-Kee! Don't know if you got a chance to check him out in person but I was curious as to how tall he was in comparison to the regular Classics figures?

    • Pixel Dan says:

He wasn't on display and hasn't officially been announced for release. He was hidden on Preview night for the contest only, but once he was found he went away. So I didn't get to see him in person.
