Thanks for the lists and taking the time to look at the eventual 2015 (subject to change) movie lineup. I hope the toy lineup in 2015 is half as good.

And I started the Doctor Who trek this year. I'm doing it all through Netflix (disc not streaming). So I started with the modern show and caught up with that in about 2 months. And also began watching from the very beginning. I've made it through the first two doctors and am into the third. It is completely worth watching. Each Doctor takes time to get used to though. I even hooked my wife. Just stating that it is worth watching, not saying you guys should start.

One of these days, I will. But man…is that going to be quite the undertaking! Heh.

      Thanks for listening!!

      • MattSterner says:

It is a massive undertaking. My 1 1/2 year old likes the show though, when he stands still long enough to look at a TV. He does dance to the theme song everytime.

First off, Congratulations to Pixel-Dan on Becoming a Father.

This is a very entertaining Podcast and I always find out interesting and useful facts. I particularly enjoy your movie based episodes. Keep up the great work. My Top movie of 2013 has to be Thor: The Dark world. One thing I have to ask is how come you find it so surprising that Marvel has managed to make quality Thor movies? Years ago when I was collecting far more comics than I do now, I always enjoyed Thor. Because of that the fact that Marvel made a quality Thor movie comes as no surprise to me.

    • Pixel Dan says:

Thanks so much! And I'm really glad you're enjoying the show! Our movie episodes really seem to be getting quite popular! 🙂

Honestly, I think it's just becuase both myself and Jonathan never really cared for Thor. Neither of his really read his comics back in our comic reading days, and I know he was just never an appealing character to either of us. When that list of movies from Marvel was first released, Thor was the one I was least excited to see. Then it turned out great! And he was even more awesome in Avengers! Then his sequel was good!

So the Marvel Cinematic universe has definitely made Thor fans out of both of us! 🙂

Another great podcast guys, keep them coming. Are ya'll gonna do one on the previous Marvel movies, go through the Iron Man's, Daredevil, the Raimi-Spider-Mans? You can probably leave out Ghost Rider. How about the ones from the 70's, 80's and early 90's, wasn't there like 2 cap movies back in the late 70's, the 90's cap movie and 90's punisher. Not to mention the Hulk movies with Thor and Daredevil? I can't rememeber whether or not it was Johnathan or Dan that hasn't seen the last two Bond movies, you gotta watch them in my opinion. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks guys.

    • Pixel Dan says:

Thanks! That was me who missed the last two Bond movies. I’ll definitely watch those before the next one comes out!
And yeah, I’m sure we can definitely do some episodes on past Super Hero movie releases! Sounds like a fun excuse to rewatch a lot of them to me!! 🙂
