The smelliest member of the Evil Warriors is here! Take an advanced look at this awesome new action figure coming to the Masters of the Universe Classics toy line: Stinkor!
Stinkor features several accessories for multiple display options, and he STINKS! Just like the vintage figure! Click through to check out the review!
I Love this figure can't wait to get it, the only thing he is missing are the hoses the connect the gas mask to the tanks, i mite have to put some on
Yeah, hoses definitely would have been a cool addition.
One of my all time favorites. Glad to see him in the line. Hoses would have been a cool addition, but the Horsemen roked this figure out IMO
I ´ll always love the 200x versions.
the classics stinkor needs 3 HOSEES (2 TANKS & 1 GUN)
I think the gun is a nice accesory tu add and custom to my 200x statue.
congrats for the site dan, and we love stinkor, do you have snake mountains stand? review please!
Snake Mountain stands review is coming tonight! 😀
Great review. I can't wait for this figure. Unfortunately I noticed in your review that his forearms have been switched. It's the same on fwoosh's first look, Hopefully in person it's not very noticeable.
I asked ToyGuru about this, and he says that this was done intentionally. Here is a quote:
"I checked with design and it actually was not a mistake but a deliberate way to differentiate Stinkor due to the heavy use of shared parts. Design discussed as a team and found that you could swap the gloves to create a slightly different look. They wanted to give Stinkor something extra since he is basically Mer-Man’s head on Beastman’s body and Mekaneck’s armor (even though we haven’t done Mek yet but you know what I mean!~). Much like painting Sorceress’ wings blue this was one way of making the toy pop a bit and be different on shelf. For reference, we also did this on BG Evil Lynn to much success!"
I think I'm going to put up a post about this…
That's all well and good, but These forearms were sculPted to be left/right arm pieces. Switching them to get the fins facing another direction doesn't work when there is clear musculature that makes it look like he has a left forearm on his right arm.
This is one of those details that might drive me crazy when I get him in-hand. At least it is not as glarIngly obvious as a switched Bicep piece, but I still wish they would think about that stuff before making these decisions. Because the prototype had the arms on correctly it makes me wonder if this really was done on purpose or not.
This is really not an issue for me. I'm really excited to get Stinkor. Mistake or not it's still a really cool figure.
Great review and very nice website!
Stinkor was the first Motu-figure my parents bought for me in 1985 so he is very special to me. I still have him and he´s still in great shape. Skeletor was the second one and i remember that i wanted to have both of them with me at my parents wedding. I wasnt able to get them with me into church but i realy tryed 🙂
Keep up the good work dan. Stinkor was one of my faves as a kid. I remember trying to hide him in my sisters room to make her room smell funny to get her in trouble
Just watched the review again, and I personally don't see any problem with the forearms…. looks alright to me. The furry body is even growing on me. Can't wait to get him!
I ordered my Stinky today. I can't wait! This is one of my favorites from when I was a kid, and I still have strong memories of opening him in the back seat of the family car to the horror of my parents' sense of smell.
Just opened my Stinkor and instantly I'm back in the mid 80's. I always related this smell to He-Man. Stinkor always was and is one of my top 5 favorites. Then Matty went and added all the new accessories to create a MYP Stinkor. Beyond awesome. I keep picking him up to smell and smile at. I LOVE this figure, everything MOTUC should be: an update of the original figure only better. (I don't really care about the reversed forearms either way)
very good indeed.
