5.5 Customs Cold Shot and Steel Jaw Figures Video Review
Wednesday, November 28th, 2012 by Pixel Dan
It’s always interesting to check out what some of the smaller toy companies are producing. If you are a fan of the 5 inch “fantasy” figures of the 1980’s, such as Masters of the Universe and similar lines, then you might get a kick out of the Art Toys that 5.5 Customs is producing.
Join me for a look at two of their unique figures: Cold Shot and Steel Jaw!

Nice review about these un-usual customs figures, Dan.
Woah Dan this is a new low!…I can't believe how flabbergasted you are at those POS's. Reminds me of customs i did in the 6th grade! Some buffoon learns how to mix silicone and cast resin and all of a sudden He's a pro? Terrible mold job, Terrible seam lines, Terrible paint application, and people buy that? Good grief, I'm in the wrong profession….
With all due respect,Sir. I understand your views, but you are poopy head. A poopy head! A poopy head I tell ya!!!! 😛
ohh come on now, it is what it is…. We love PD's reviews, but have you ever seen him say anything bad about something he's gotten for free? This site wouldn't exist if he did that. These guys, even Mattel, give him stuff for free with the intent that he'll do a fluff review on it and you'll buy it. Now PD will refute that and say there is no such agreement or contract for such; thus I said "with the intent". 🙂 Have you seen the twinkle in PD's eye in his videos where he's hanging out with Scott?? haha
I hope they got clearance from Mattel for these…
You know the answer to that.
Ye are a Pirate supporter there, Pixel D..! For Shame… I decree?
It's called making an "Art Toy" today. haha
I just fanmade females….. 🙁
need to brush my teeeth
Who has the number for Playmates Legal and Mattle Legal. I am not agaisnt any small bussiness but what these guys are doing is basic theft. They are making casting of items they do not have the rights to make and try to make money off the work of other if they bought the models form the company like Tops Toys did for their Fuerza-T that one thing but these guys are theives plan and simple. Let me know when these guys start using their own stuff and I might give them a 2nd look. And no I have agianst people making their own I have bought figures from a 3rd Party Transformer maker.
Wow, that's a lot of negativity here.
I think they looks awesome, ad wish I could afford them, or knew how to make my own. Either way, they're really neat.
