Sponsored Review: For a wide selection of Beast Saga and more great toys, shop at Big Bad Toy Store
Battle Beasts/Beastformers are back! Now under the banner Beast Saga, Takara Tomy have released an incredibly new line of action figures that are very reminiscent of the vintage Battle Beasts toy line with some new twists!
Join me for a look at this brand new line of action figures imported from Japan!
Want to add some Beast Saga figures to your collection? Then you need to head on over to BigBadToyStore.com! They have a wide selection available, including pre-orders for Series 2! Use this link to get to BBTS, then order some for yourself!
I love these guys. FYI: the blind pack BS-03 Random Booster Vol. 1 are all CLEAR variants of series 1 figures (except no Hamster, Deer, Piranha or Bony Fish). Not the ones shown on BBTS page, except the Lion which does look awesome. Also when the clear character dice are in the figures you can shine a light above to make them glow. There is a little angled mirror in there. Lastly on the official website there are 2 videos that give some idea of how to play the game and are very fun to watch.

I just posted my second video about the Blind Boxed figures. 🙂
Thanks for the links to the videos! I'll check those out!
Also check out the video after clicking the Home tab at the top of either link. Very awesome CGI intro to the concept in english. Probally the best one of all. Also under the 3 Comercials in the second link the video listed as "Special Movie" shows off the figures Stop-Motion Fashion Runway style. Enjoy.
At the bottom left of the Takara Beast Saga Website there is also a picture/link that says GAME START.
Clicking on it starts up a game where you control the Lion in a battle against the Sea Tribe.
Nice review.
When I saw these I thought: Now these are real Battle Beasts! (compared to what DST has done)
It seems Fire, Wood and Water have been replaced by: Land Tribe (red), Sea Tribe (blue) and probably Air Tribe (green).
I think I prefer this new dice system over the old rock, paper, scissors system.
Will you also review the Official Dice Battle Field and/or the DX Dice Battle Colosseum?
traslucent stickers by reporlabels to put over the level so you dont have to put the die in the chest to have a die in it

Does anyone know of any translated instructions for playing the game?
Does anyone know how these are figures are organized? What figures belong to what wave/series? Are there different waves/series? There is not much information for Beast Saga online.
Everything I reviewed is Wave 1. There is a Wave 2 available for Pre-Order now. BigBadToyStore.com had them all listed out and I think has the waves for them. Maybe check there. Hope that helps!
TFSource.com has them (with free shipping for orders over $150) and robotkingdom.com has them cheaper, but they are being shipped from overseas and shipping is more expensive. I just purchased the first 2 starter sets from PastGenerationToys through eBay.
There is also a great site (that needs to be translated by your browser) that has a lot of information on the Beast Saga figures: http://saibikan.web.fc2.com/garden/beastsaga/inde…
And ShelfLife.net now has Beast Saga catalogs up (I'm the curator for them and several other catalogs).
