Playmates announces SDCC Exclusive TMNT Shredder Figure

Playmates has announced via The Hollywood Reporter that they will have an exclusive TMNT Shredder action figure available at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con!
The news was sort of snuck into this report over at The Hollywood Reporter that was more-so about the debut of Casey Jones in season 2 of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, which is awesome news all it’s own.
It appears the SDCC Exclusive Shredder is the same figure as the upcoming Shredder version 2, but includes some cool metallic chromed armor pieces and a sewer cover display stand!
No word just yet on cost, but it’s a pretty slick looking figure!

Will we be getting a non vac metal version at retail? Because as much as I love vac metal, I can probably pass this up if I can at least get a regular version later. SDCC is killing me as it is 😛
Yep. There is a non-vac metal version of this same figure coming to retail. 🙂
The Vac Metal and stand are nice but I can wait for a normal retail version. : )
So this is the tiny figures? I wish Playmates was revealing the classics one at SDCC. I hope the display table will have some 6 inch classics surprises next to Rocksteady & Bebop.
