His outfit looks red-brown in your studio lights… I wonder what he'd look like under a black light?

Very cool figure! Will you be reviewing the other Hot Toys GI Joes?

    • Pixel Dan says:

Yeah, I commented on the colors in the video. I've always had a problem with black cloth items looking slightly brown on video. I know it has something to do with the lighting and the way the camera perceives the colors, but I've not yet found a good way to correct this. I need to do some more research on the matter. I apologize if that causes issues. I wish he looked as good on video as he does in person.

I may be doing more, we'll just have to wait and see. This is only my second Hot Toys figure. 🙂 But I love it!!

      • JDRay007 says:

Do you have full spectrum lights in your studio lights? I haven't done video but since I use them in my art studio I was wondering if they would work with video.

I have a handful of HT figures and really dig them. First Avenger: Captain America (which I parted together), Avengers Captain America, Indiana Jones and Red Skull.

Snake Eyes is next on my list and I liked your review of him, I really needed to know if the swords were metal and you answered that!

        • Pixel Dan says:

Currently I use Photo Flood bulbs for my studio lights. But Full Spectrum bulbs should work well also. I've seen plenty of lithging kits that include those types of bulbs.

Glad you liked the video! 🙂
