In 2003, Toynami released a series of action figures based on the characters from the classics Hanna-Barbera cartoon Thundarr the Barbarian. I always wanted to pick these up, but missed out on them when they were initially released, and over the years the have become a little pricey on the secondary market.
I finally scored two of the three figures from this line (hopefully with the third to come soon!) So, I figured I should give them the video review treatment!
Kicking things off, here’s a look at the figure based on the title character: Thundarr the Barbarian!
Yeah, I apparently totally missed that! I didn't realize at all this feature existed until I posted the video. Now everyone is telling me. LOL! D'oh…I screwed that one up!
When this figure first came out, I remember seeing a lot of people talking about customizing this figure into a Filmation He-Man. I wonder if anyone ever did?
Hi, you didn't review his "action feature". the handle of the sword can be attached to his left wrist, because of the magnet in the bracelet.

Hey! It's one of those "dumbed down" Filmation He-Man figures people are always complaining about!

Cool figure!
Lords of Light!!!!!
Love it, great figure.
To me this figure shows how cool a Filmation He- Man figure could be. I want more cartoony barbarians.

looks like a He-Man version of Mr. Garrison from South Park!^^ Gay Amore He-Man is the better name than Thundarr.^^
I admit, I loved Thundarr. Because of you and this video, I now know about the toys and just ordered them.
Sadly just two weeks ago Mckay's books had all three figures for about $6.95 a piece. There gone now.
