The father of Lion-O and his adopted brother Tygra comes to the ThunderCats 4″ scale action figure line as part of the second wave!
Join me for a look at this hard to find figure! Video after the jump!
Nice score! I spotted him in WM once, but passed. My enthusiasm came and went as quick as this line. For the sake of fans tho, I hope it gets a new lease on life. i love the show.
I'm with you on the enthusiasm, man. I love the show, but my excitement for the toy line is all but gone after all of the messing around Bandai has done and the mostly sub-par figures (my opinion!) Claudus here and the 6" Tygra are all that I really wanted to snag before this line fades into obscurity.
We'll see if that changes if they suddenly announce a new wave.
Great review! But I think your figure's face doesn't have a scratch, I believe that's supposed to be a scar (as seen in the picture)

Thats not a scratch on the face, it's his scar from the show and all art, work even the box art. all toys have that scar it's painted on so yours is not defective. It is weird but intentional.
Yeah, it's a scar. I believe you see him without the scar briefly in the episode "Old Friends" and then you see him with it.
I don't really care about the modern line it's the Classic line I hate to see go.
Even though I'm not 100% happy with these figures, I do agree. I would have at the very least liked to have completed the original team. Such a shame the messed around with the scales the way they did, and now we probably won't get any more.
Thanks for the heads up about the scar, guys. That definitely does not look like a design choice to me. Was that neccesary to put on there? *sigh*
I've updated the video so it no longer says that it's a mistake. 🙂
They still havent released the 2nd wave here in the UK yet
That sucks, man. I hope they do get released over there! But who knows at this point.
I love the review. Claudus looks good but I was so put off by the articulation in this figure line. Bandai does such great figures in their Japan toys but they seem to not really try when it comes to the American releases.
