I bugs me when to call the lions "he". The lions arn't alive and the legs are backwards. I do miss the numbers.

    • Pixel Dan says:

Ahhh, but it is hinted at many times that the lions DO have a life force. They recognize their pilots.

      • Man-E-Fan1977 says:

When? If it's in Voltron Force, I'm not sure if I count that. Besides that's after these.

        • joe says:

I don't know if it counts as the lion's life force, but remember the episode with the guy Prince Bokar who was really an awesome cobra robeast in disguise? At one point Bokar tried to hijack the lion and the spirit of King Alfor busted him in the cockpit. Also, it does seem that Voltron shows some personality in the fight with Bokar. Voltron seems legitimately pissed off at the robeast as evidenced by the big superimposed lion roaring and then Voltron crackling with energy and his eyes glowing as he split Bokar with the Blazing Sword.

PS-Voltron busts out a flame thrower at point blank range to Bokar's face. Old School Voltron did not F around.

After watching that one all of that did happen, but it's iffy. I need something clearer, like dialog.

  • @srattigan says:

And Dan forms the head! Hilarious.

  • Jarrod says:

LOL! Loved the 'I'll form the head' gag. I think I'm still generally okay with my decision to pass on Matty's Voltron lions, but it does make me wish I'd been able to get ahold of Toynami's Masterpiece Voltron a few years back when it was available and before the secondary market prices shot through the roof.

    • Pixel Dan says:

Toynami's Masterpiece Voltron is still the best Voltron to date, hands down. It sucks that it's gotten so expensive on the after market. Every Voltron fan needs one!

  • Brent says:

Great reveiw as always but now we need one for Sven.

    • Pixel Dan says:

When I get Sven, I will probably review. But he's going to be the same as all the other pilots, just with a different head. 🙂

  • anonymous says:

    What about the assembled sword?

    • Pixel Dan says:

Still have one more piece with the black lion. I'll show the fully assembled sword once I get that final piece.

  • fuzzy says:

Great review. Looks awesome but you forgot to show how the key works the cockpit

  • phil says:

probably gonna just get the blue lion, looks cool by itself, except it has a little primary coloration, but its mainly blue

  • Wheeljack35 says:

My blue lion is on its way and I will not open Sven he is staying on the card
