    such a shame about capes ….Correct me if i am wrong but i believe the wire in cape is so the figures look like the are climbing the wall base even if it is laid flat on a table top or shelf, creating the illusion of gravity ? … much like the way they used to shoot the old sixties show

    I love the wall mounted base. Cool for people who are running out of display space LOL.

    Eddie3429 I believe you're right about the wires being to hold the capes out for the wall display. It would have worked better had they wire ran all the way around the neck so you could pose it flying behind them. I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed in this set, I think I'll still get it to display on the wall. We'll have to wait for another Robin release with a standard cape to put in the Batmobile.
